Seattle Bus Tunnel
The Seattle bus tunnel runs under 3rd Ave. It is 1.3 miles long and has 5 stops. It may at some point carry light rail cars though now it only carries busses. The busses run on electricity in the tunnel, but switch to diesel once they get to the end. The stations are large and ornate. Also, the tunnel is completely within the free fare zone, so you can ride the busses there free (and you don’t have to wait for people to pay either).
