Underground City

The underground city or la ville souterraine is a huge network of both above ground and underground public spaces that are links to offices, shops, and transit. The Montréal train station is in the middle of the underground network as are many of the cities major shopping areas. Even through it sounds a bit dark, skylights are frequently used to make the underground city a very pleasant place to be.
