The Zocolo is the great central plaza of Mexico City. The Tempolo Mayor, Catedral Metropolitana and Palacio Nacional all line its edges. A huge flag exists in the center, and vendors cluster in one corner. Various markets on side streets spill onto the Zocalo, and it is busy night and day.
