The Hollywood Walk of Fame lines both sides of Hollywood Boulevard from Gower to La Brea, and both sides of Vine Street, from Yucca to Sunset. It was started in 1960 as a way to recognize acheievment in five categories - Motion Pictures, Television, Radio, Recording, or Live Theatre. It is now designated as a historical landmark.
