The best part of Switzerland is traveling through it by train. Virtually any route through Switzerland will reveal civil engineering feats of tunneling, bridging, and earthworks like are present no where else. Several spiral tunnels help trains climb the mountains, and provide elevation for spectacular views of waterfalls, rivers, and valleys. Scattered about are quaint towns and small chalet style houses.
